I was born and raised in Turkey. I started singing in school choirs since primary school and playing in the marching band since 4th year of the school. That means I actually started with drums at first when I was around 10 years old and became the lead of that band around 13 years old. We had a music teacher for that band to guide us, I can say It was my very first formal lessons. And after 6th year of the school, I managed some school events’ backstage, handling mic and audio controls and routing multimedia. I really enjoyed the whole process.
I personally became more interested in music around 2009-2010 with a cheap classical guitar at home (It only cost fifty bucks). I just picked it up and started learning by my own discovery in online resources. I remember struggling to play and sing at the same time when I was about 14-15 years old.
During the first years of learning to play guitar and singing together, I was recording my performances with one of the oldest video cameras and extracting audio from those video files. It remained a hobby while I focused on software programming, technical high school and then engineering.
When I moved to Poland for IT work in 2022, I started taking part in open-mic sessions in Kraków where you get a few minutes to perform. I really enjoyed being on stage and performing live, but I also felt I needed to keep improving in every aspect.
